Text Box: Praise the Lord our KCC members, partners and friends.
First giving honor to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

KCC family, we have come a long ways from our beginnings with the help of our Heavenly Father. We are a loving church with a big heart with a mission to build His Kingdom.

At KCC, if one is in pain then we all are in pain. Let’s continue to pray for those in need, our sick and shut-in, and for those in financial bondage. In this economy, a difficult situation can land on any one of us at any time. The first place we look for help is the Lord and next, the church. That is why it is so important that we have a strong friendly church so that people can feel comfortable bringing their time, talents and treasures to KCC.

We encourage all KCC members to read the Bible for themselves, attend Bible study, understand the word and walk the walk. Some of us are majoring in the talking and minoring in the walking. Our character defines who we are. We are not perfect, but we can practice daily to develop good character.

What does it costs to be “kind” to someone? Not one dime. It is a gift that we have and many of us do not take advantage of it. Not only being kind, but having a “humble” spirit. How many of us are working on displaying a humble spirit? A smile uses less muscles in your face than a frown. A smile can open so many doors that appears to be closed. How many times have you entered a store only to be served by a cashier with a nasty attitude. Is that the person you would offer a job when you open your new business? Of course not! So let’s display our smiles, our KCC smiles, so when people see us they will be scratching their heads wondering what’s up with them. Also, that could be the only smile they have seen all day. If you can’t put a smile on your face for yourselves, smile for Jesus who died for us. Let our smiles speak for us as we continue to walk the walk and make it contagious!

Lastly, why is it so hard for us to compliment each other? There is nothing
wrong with it. Let’s change that by telling yourself first “I am a child of God, I am beautiful and God does not make mistakes”. He loves each one of us just as we are. Without an agenda, compliment someone else. Start with you, then a friend, then someone you do not know. Not only will you feel good, they will feel good as well. They do not have to tell you thank you because you did your part and that is all that matters. It clearly shows that you have a good heart and did not expect anything in return.

This is building good character by displaying your God-Given Gifts. The Bishop
